ADOLESCENT insecurity -
Am I weird? *click here!!!* 10 PTS BEST ANSWER!?
I'm turning thirteen in 2 months and I wanted to know if these thoughts are normal...
I often think about masterbation and I get the tingles in my private places whenever I do, it's the same kind of feeling you get when you watch movies like Titanic or The Notebook or Dear John (or any romantic movie, really) and they kiss passionately. That kind of feeling. And a few nights ago, I had a dream that I was thinking about having sex and I kept playing it in my mind (in my dream) and I always daydream about a first-kiss and the perfect guy and all.
It's weird - I know this is a stereotype of the female population but most girls believe that there will someday be a prince charming who will sweep them off their feet on his white high horse and they will live a happily after. Maybe I've been watching too much TV - but the reality is, the truth is hard to face, and it's a harsh, bittersweet world we reside in.
My question is - aren't I too young to start thinking about sexual activity? Obviously, I'm not thinking of doing anything in the near future - the feelings are out of my control. I'm not planning to wait till marriage either - in fact, I'm planning to have a one-night stand at 21 in Vegas - but I'm wondering if it's normal, hormonical changes making me feel insecure or what?

Open Question: Do you really think APs are the cause of so many problems?
Stop putting the cart before the horse (the AP before the birthmother). The horse always comes first, otherwise nothing goes forward.

Open Question: Is this insane ????????????
I have two mares here for weaning - the foals stayed with the owner.
One of the mares, a Cleveland Bay, was a foster mother to one foal having had her foal die. This is a biggish mare, about 16 hands, conformationally fairly correct and in good condition. The owner who loaned her for fostering doesn't really want her back and has asked the borrower to find her a home or, they will have her back for the summer and put her down.
The only stipulation to the loan was that she was not bred from again. She has had three foals, the first was deformed on a front leg, the second turned out to be a wobbler and was put down last year and the third died at birth (Big foal although the stallion was a 14.2 Connemara)
This mare is 12 this time, she has never been ridden which I find hard to believe as she foaled for the first time at seven.
She is mannerless, as is the other mare, but that is no problem, they are learning fast!
I am busy with our own horses so would I be insane to take on what could be a problem animal?
I did stand her next to the mounting block and fiddle about with her, leant against her and half onto her withers/neck and she wasn't to fussed about it.
I would not want her for me and would only take her on if the owner signed her over to me, break her and sell her as a hunter.
The other thing that I have found out is that she was the product of father to daughter so is not registered, not that it matters to me. Temperamentally she is fine, has an eye on her like a saucer which I would find hard to believe would make her mean but, experience tells me that there is something in her back ground as to why she was supposedly never ridden.
Thoughts please from those experienced with all sorts of horse problems.

Open Question: Just for fun how much is my horse worth?
She is a 6 year old registered hypp nn quarter horse mare. She has a beautiful dark palomino coat and is 16hh . She also has been shown in halter and has done very well. She is currently being trained for western pleasure and my trainer who has gone to the nationals says my horse has a fantastic western pleasure lope and has a beautiful slow jog which will take her far in the show ring. She has also done some jumping and can clear a 2.6 foot jump when lunged. How much do you think she would sell for ? Iam not selling her but iam curious to know what she would sell for.

Open Question: What professions would be good for me?
I really super love animals, I've always been great with all kinds from rats to horses, and I am good with small children as well. I have good patience and I'm often praised on how mature, aloof, goal-oriented I am. I've got high grades above my age level. I know how to ride English, and I'm above average at that too due to my good control and feeling nature.
I was considering being a veterinarian or animal-assisted therapist. Are there any more jobs like that out in the world?
