Open Question: Looking for Brenderup Horse Trailer and Tacoma?

I am looking to buy a used toyota tacoma, v6, must be 2005+. I want an access cab, trd off road 4x4 rated to tow 6,500 lbs in preferably black, silver, or charcoal. I can pay cash, but I am still trying to save money. I live in California so I want to keep this search to the California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada area. As far as the horse trailer. I want the baron brenderup with the instack feature. (If it matches the truck even better!) I am looking in the same area as well and can pay with cash. My birthday is March 15, and this is a birthday present to myself. I have already requested an entire week off (12-18) to look for my truck and trailer. I am just trying to get a head start now. If you know of anyone or you have something that I am looking for or any suggestions please don't hesitate to let me know! I am very grateful for any help. I have never shopped for a truck or trailer before. :)

I think it clearly described the conundrum, and the fact that both a PETA (eeeeek) and a HSUS representative were interviewed was good. PS I'll be kind of surprised if any of you DID see the report. @Alice - yeah, PETA is pretty bad - scary for the animals, in fact. As for news networks, we won't get into that here! :- /

Open Question: Bareback riding help?

I can walk bareback (it's a little weird but I can stay on) and I want to know what I should do to become a better bareback rider. I have tried trotting bareback and I can't stay on. I can trot stirrup-less in western saddle. should I try no stirrups English before I try bareback? I know that if you can ride bareback you will become a better rider altogether, so that's why I want to learn. my horses trot is ROUGH! it's hard to sit in a saddle so that might be why it's so hard to ride bareback. should I get on bareback and have someone lunge my horse while I try to stay on? I know you squeeze your thighs to stay on but any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

Open Question: Tips for owning an english mastiff?

soory this is a repost i accidently posted in the wrong section so i'm just copying and pasting! well, my brother is moving out soon, and will be taking his german shepherd with him. I have always wanted an english mastiff, and my parents are thinking of possible adopting one for me if i get a 4.0 (I have a dyslexia and ADD, and have always stuggled to get a 2.5, but this year i have been able to get a 3.0 with less effort) i'm already aware that they poop alot, but i'm pretty good with poop, by the time i was 4 my parents had be cleaning up after a pitbul, ad beuveir. I'm just not ure how much to feed them, and how much exercise ect. so... just tips for me! thnkyiu so much! p.s. i'm an experienced dog owner, i have had 8 dogs in my life, only one of them have been under 100 lbs, and i have also raised two puppies! 16 minutes ago - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details i'm 13 so will probably be with parents for another 6-7 years, if you are concerned i will ditch it, plus, my parents would be able to take care of it if i did HAVE to leave it home 'cause well... my dad is an experienced horse owner :)

I just bought a horse and we did a bill of sale. He said this is all I would need to transfer her to my name. Is he right? This is through AQHA. My mom had did my other horses and it's been a long time.

When around people i tend to be a mute. I don't like to talk to other people all that much so i tend to keep to myself and my horses. I suffer from depression and i'm not very good at expressing the way i feel to people because i'm afraid they'll judge me so i go out and talk to my Mare Jordan. She was my first horse and i have a very close bond with her so i feel like she wont judge me. I tend not to talk to people because i have anger issues and the simplest of things can set me off. I'm on medication for my depression, and i go to counselling for my anger issues but neither of them are working....My parents think its because i'm to focused on my horses so they want to get rid of them! so how can i get them to keep them? And dont say just talk to them. In my situation it isnt that easy. My parents are very hard people to talk to. Novacastrion....Why get a diary when i can talk to my horses. Why waste my time writing when i can simply talk to them? Its hard not to focus on anything else. I have 15 mares who are due to foal in the next month-3 months. I have a stud whom i'm breeding with a few other mares. I have 30 horses to feed. And i have to exercise and train all my other horses the 15 pregnant mares arent mine. There being boarded at my place. They were bred to my stud and they will go home after then have foaled. There for i'm getting money for them. I also have quite a few young horses that are being broke and trained. When there finished with that they'll be sold to different homes. its not like there all staying at my house forever. @Amazon Warrior i pay for all there care. Not my parents @ Novacastrion...They own non of them. And just to prove you wrong i have a doctors appointment this thursday about my depression. The anger issues are a given. It runs in my blood. I bred my first horse by myself out of my grandparents stock. Then i started training other peoples horses for them. When i had enough money i went to sale and bought 7 coming 3 year olds. When they turned 3 there training began. I sold them. I did this for a few years before i had quite a bit of money saved up. Plus the stud fee's and boarding fees and managing my money. Open Question: Gift ideas for my best guy friends birthday?

I went to elementary school and middle school with him and never even knew he existed (he is a sophomore and im a freshman) and first semester i sat with a sophomore girl i had met from playing tennis and her friend (Jake) started sitting with us. We basically became really good friends in one day. i texted him one night (it was like the first time i had ever really even talked to him) and he out of nowhere he shared some really personal info and then the next day we just texted each other all day and talked about EVERYTHING. from that day on we have been like best friends (best guy friend). Anyway, he is going to turn 16 very soon and i don't know what to get him!! my birthday was last month but i didn't tell him (my best girl friend told him) so the next day he brought me a bag of coconut!! It was super random but it was thoughtful because he knows i like coconut. I am thinking about maybe getting him a coffee mug (he loves coffee!) or a gift card for the coffee shop by our school and maybe some jones soda. he is like always listening to music so maybe i should get him an itunes gift card.... I have no idea!! are these ideas stupid? do u have any better ideas? Im thinking about maybe having him come to my house to see me horses (he has never seen horses up close and wants to). is that stupid?? please help!! For my best friend courtney i got her a bunch of little gifts. she liked it but is that a bad idea for a guy? should i just get him one gift? Thanks a bunch!!!
